Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or using Bloc (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Bloc (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You may use the App only if you can legally form a binding contract in your country or region. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Some jurisdictions restrict services for children (for example, under 13 in the U.S. or under 16 in parts of the EU). If you allow all ages, you may still need a separate child-specific policy and safeguards.

3. App License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable laws.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful or harmful purposes.
  • Interfere with the App's security or operation.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code except where allowed by law.
  • Use the App in a way that violates any third-party rights.

5. No Guarantees of Results

Bloc is a productivity tool. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, improvement, or productivity results.

6. Notifications and Reminders

If the App provides notifications, reminders, or scheduling, delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by device settings or operating system limitations. You remain responsible for managing your time and obligations.

7. Payments, Subscriptions, and RevenueCat

If you purchase a subscription or paid feature, billing is handled by the platform app store.

If applicable, we use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat terms are available here: RevenueCat Terms of Service.

All purchases are subject to the platform's billing terms and refund policies.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services (such as platform services or subscription management). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies.

9. Privacy

We do not collect personal data through the App. If you contact support, you may voluntarily provide information such as your email address.

10. Changes to the App

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario,Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

If you operate globally, you may include a clause stating that local consumer laws may still apply.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
